# Eonverse

## Where great minds continue.

Eonverse is a universe of historical perspectives, carried into new encounters. Eon means an immense span of time; verse suggests a connected world. The brand is built around intellectual continuity, not resurrection. Every Mind is a simulation informed by historical material.

## Strategy

Audience: intellectually curious people, independent learners, researchers, and future educational and cultural partners. The experience should invite exploration without requiring academic expertise. The founding product offers 16 Minds and curated encounters. Its long-term ambition is a persistent world of source-grounded agents.

Positioning: an editorial atlas that opens into a living institution. Human faces and individual perspectives are the central attraction. Avoid chatbot-product language, crypto aesthetics, invented scientific authority, and claims that historical figures are literally alive.

Voice: precise, curious, short. Prefer “Bring another perspective into the room” to “Unlock unlimited intelligence.” State whether something is available, planned, historical, inferred, or simulated. Never fabricate historical quotations or conceal demonstration data behind “live” labels.

## The Continuum mark

The selected mark is an open E composed of a shared curved origin and parallel trajectories. Its longest line reaches forward. It suggests different ideas carrying beyond a common starting point. The geometry reads without a wordmark at 16–32 px.

Three explorations are recorded in `brand/logo-concepts.svg`: Continuum E (selected), Parallel Epochs, and Open Archive. Only Continuum E is the active identity. No brain, robot, speech bubble, ringed planet, or generic star is used.

Use `brand/eonverse-logo.svg` for the horizontal signature, `brand/symbol.svg` for compact use, and `brand/wordmark.svg` when the symbol is redundant. The favicon places the symbol on charcoal with a small corner radius. The identity does not assert trademark registration.

Clear space: at least one-quarter symbol width on every side. Minimum symbol width: 16 px. Minimum complete lockup width: 140 px. Do not stretch, outline, rotate, decorate, place on a busy face, or separate the mark from the wordmark inconsistently. Ivory and violet are the preferred foregrounds; the monochrome mark is suitable for one-color use.

Never encode evidence type by color alone. Each badge contains a written label. Primary action foreground is #17121E. Contrast should be checked after any palette change. Gradients belong to image overlays and atmospheric page transitions, not every component.

## Typography

Manrope is the self-hosted UI family, using regular, medium, and semibold weights. Georgia is the editorial serif for considered dialogue and occasional italic emphasis. Avoid serif navigation and all-uppercase body copy. Large headings use restrained negative tracking; body text uses comfortable leading. Main copy targets 16 px and above, with compact secondary metadata where appropriate.

The initial interface is English. Locale types support English, French, German, and Arabic. Arabic launch requires reviewed strings and an appropriate licensed Arabic family (recommended Noto Sans Arabic for UI and Noto Naskh Arabic for editorial content). Set `lang` and `dir` at the root; use logical layout properties. Do not expose untranslated language selectors.

## Layout and components

Spacing is based on 4 and 8 px increments, with 24–32 px component gaps and 60–96 px major section spacing. Reading widths are deliberately constrained. Card corners are small, typically 4–6 px. The homepage alternates portraits, editorial explanation, a wide debate composition, realm entries, and open typographic sections. Avoid a wall of identical tiles.

Lucide line icons use a consistent 1.5–2 px visual weight. Icons support text rather than replacing important labels. Forms use explicit labels, visible errors, loading feedback, and preserved input. Tabs, dialogs, sheets, and switches reuse accessible primitives.

## Images

The homepage uses a commissioned AI-generated ensemble of Leonardo, Newton, Einstein, Curie, and Lovelace. Catalog portraits use historical images with provenance in `data/portrait-credits.json`. The artwork and photographs are not interchangeable forms of evidence. Later depictions, uncertain attributions, and low-resolution sources remain identified on the research page.

Keep faces recognizable. Favor charcoal, silver, natural skin texture, and restrained violet side lighting. Do not modernize identity, add glowing eyes, or use wax-statue skin. Cards may use grayscale and subtle lighting transitions, never unnecessary face animation. Set image dimensions to prevent layout shifts.

## Motion

Short interface feedback: approximately 160–220 ms. Portrait transitions: approximately 500–700 ms. One quiet entrance reveal, with no continuous particles needed. Respect `prefers-reduced-motion`. Motion should reveal hierarchy and response, not delay interaction.

## Product integrity

Historical: documented information with a source pathway.
Inferred: a reading of evidence, carrying uncertainty.
Simulated: new content created for Eonverse.

All founding debate lines and agent responses are newly authored demonstrations. No claim is made that they are genuine quotations, autonomous discoveries, or live activity. Sources in the preview are reading references, not retrieved claim-level citations. Keep these distinctions when adding real AI services.
